Ticket2.com is the safe marketplace for trading event tickets on the secondary market in the Nordic countries.Large volumes of tickets are traded on the secondary market in the Nordic countries, and Ticket2’s goal is to make this trading as safe and convenient as possible for both buyers and sellers.

Since the service was introduced, Ticket2.com has seen rapid growth in volumes traded, both in sports and in concert tickets. Trading volumes in fall 2007 are about three times the volumes traded only half a year before.  

In May 2007, Ticket2.com was on Swedish business magazine Veckans Affärer's list of 'burning hot internet and telecom companies'.

In February 2007, Ticket2.com CEO Anders Östlund was named one of Sweden's leading internet entrepreneurs by Swedish internet business magazine Internetworld.

Ticket2.com was founded in 2005 and opened its Swedish-language marketplace in August 2006. The marketplaces for the other Nordic countries ( Finland, Norway and Denmark ) were launched in January 2007.
